Jon Frederick Keller, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away in the presence of family on September 26, 2015. He was born on September 10, 1934 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Samuel and Frances Keller. His family moved to Phoenix in 1943. Jon met the love of his life, Lanora, at Phoenix Union High School and they married in 1952. Jon worked at Vinson Carter Electric until opening his own business in 1982, Keller Equipment Company. He sold the business and retired in 2006. A long time sports enthusiast, Jon loved baseball. A true family man, one of Jon’s favorite things was enjoying his time in the White Mountains with family and friends. He had a passion for the arts and was a huge supporter of his community. Jon is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lanora, daughters Kari Eslick (Tom), Penney Keller, Joni Parks (Clay), and son Duane Keller; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother Ronald Keller. Visitation will be held Friday, October 2, 2015 from 5:00-7:00pm at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 E Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042. Funeral Services will be held Saturday October 3, 2015 at 10:00am followed by burial at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens.
