At the early age of 4 years old Pastor Coleman was called by God to preach the gospel. She also enjoyed playing the guitar and singing to encourage others. Her growing up years allowed her to blossom more into her gifts of the spirit in being a seer who could witness to the power of God allowing her to speak into other people lives information that only God and the person knew.
As a young mother with small children Pastor Coleman traveled the United States in a motor home starting new churches in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Missouri, Pennsylvania, California. Pastor Coleman started 30 churches across the United States and those congregations remain active and thriving today to purposefully fulfill the calling.
When Pastor Coleman was asked about her God given ministry her response was “I am a faith preacher.” Faith is what she stood on and she believed that Jesus Christ could do it even if you didn’t believe, Pastor Coleman would believe for you. She would ask you “Where is God?” Pastor Coleman would never give up on you even when you gave up on yourself. Pastor Coleman was gifted with all nine gifts and moved in the power of the Holy Spirit but only by the grace of God.
Pastor Coleman style of preaching and teaching was unique in that she taught you in the church how to apply it and asked those questions that convicted your spirit. Pastor Coleman was the heartbeat of the church and she let it be known, “I can’t miss church, I need to be there for the people.”
Pastor Coleman’s love, life, and legacy lives on through her children who she loved dearly. She taught well through example and being the role model of love to all regardless of their story and where they came from. Pastor Coleman is now in her glorified body. As we continue on our journey, let us realize that one day we too will go be with the Lord. Are you ready?
