Kelsea Gayle Shultz

SHULTZ, Kelsea Gayle – Born in Mesa, Arizona on December 17, 1990 and left us on December 23, 2014 at age twenty-four, she is loved greatly and will be missed fiercely. Kelsea grew up in Tempe, starting school at Hudson Elementary and graduating from McClintock High School in 2009. Kelsea was a passionate soccer player from a young age. She played for AYSO and then for the Gilbert Soccer Club on the 91’s team, playing for them until high school graduation. Kelsea played the position of Goal Keeper and loved nothing more than standing in that box with her gloves on. She spent the next two years playing for Chandler-Gilbert Community College when she finally hung up her cleats and continued her education through Northern Arizona University. Kelsea leaves behind her parents – Amy of Tempe and Spencer of Denver as well as Grandfather John of Tempe and Grandmother Kathy of Phoenix. Her siblings, sister Kaylee and brother-in-law Cole of Phoenix, younger brother Kurtis and sister KiAnna also of Tempe. Stepmother Stacey, brother Kain and sister Hannah of Colorado. In addition - aunts Laura, Rebecca, Melissa and Sherry – uncles Bill, Warren, Andy, Cleveland and Chris. Plus cousins: Adam, David, Emma, Nathan, Tori, Sean, Jake, Tristyn, Justin, Jeremy, Donovan, Ronan, Claudia, Savannah, Tre, Zoi, Keegan, Chris, Carrington and Cordell.
