It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Maria Teresa Casias. Maria Teresa Casias, 91 years old, longtime resident of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on May 11, 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on October 2, 1922 in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico and departed on May 11, 2014 at 9:20pm in Phoenix, Arizona at Grace Healthcare of Phoenix. She is the daughter of the late Victor Martinez and Leonarda Garcia. She is survived by numerous step children, family and friends. While living in Mexico she was employed as a hotel supervisor, and as a homemaker in the United States. While residing in Arizona, she was loved and adored by my many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends!
Rosary Memorial Services will be conducted at 3:30 pm on Saturday May 24, 2014 at Resthaven Park Mortuary & Cemetery located at 4310 East Southern Avenue Phoenix, AZ 85042. Maria Teresa Casias will them be put to rest at 11:00 am on Saturday May 31, 2014 at Cedar Cemetery located at East Miami Road Montrose, Colorado 81401. A social gathering of family and friends will be held following the services TBA.
