Ramon Villa Figueroa

Ramon Villa Figueroa of Phoenix passed from this life on Thursday, February 13th at the age of 82. He was born December 28, 1942 in Tucson to Isabel Figueroa. He moved to Phoenix as a teenager where he met the love of his life, Eloisa Valenzuela. They were married for 57 years.

Ramon worked as a Chef for quite a few Phoenix area restaurants prior to his retirement from The San Marcos Resort in 2005. He enjoyed watching cowboy movies, watching sports, listening to music, camping and fishing.

Ramon is survived by daughter and son in law Isabel and Steve Robles of Laveen, son Paul Figueroa of Phoenix and son and daughter in law Joseph and Merrie Figueroa of Laveen. Grandchildren Deanna Figueroa, Kristine Robles, Steven Robles, Amanda Figueroa, Erika Figueroa, Paul Figueroa Jr, Robert Figueroa, Breanna Feick, Treyce Ward, Colby Ward, Julianna Figueroa and Joshua Figueroa. Great grandchildren John Booker, Joseph Booker, Isaiah Figueroa, Lucas Figueroa and Sebastian Sibrian. Sister Erlinda Carranza, brother Henry Figueroa, brother Angel Miranda and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.

Ramon was preceded in death by his loving wife Eloisa Figueroa, son Michael Figueroa, grandson Joseph Figueroa Jr, mother Isabel Figueroa Miranda, grandmother Concepcion V. Madril, grandfather Jose Figueroa, brothers Joe, Ramon, Eduardo, Ernesto, Alvino, Alfredo and Arturo and sisters Maria and Gloria, brother in laws Manuel, Tino, Frank, Joe and Johnny Valenzuela.

Services and burial are Friday, March 7th at 11am at Resthaven Carr-Tenney.
