I'm so glad that I got to know Bob. He was so kind, loving caring and loved his family very much. I have very nice memories of him. He loved watching his sports and loved going on his hunting trips. The things he used to do for the girls while they were in soccer the team. Ill also never forget his smile and especially his toothpick. We will never forget you. We love you!!

Your father was so proud of you all and loved you so much. Bob touched many peoples lives - mine included. I will always treasure the fun memories of our “BIG 10 College Football Rivalry”. His fierce, but fun loving passion for everything PENN STATE his beloved Nittany Lions. He always reminded me of the PENN STATE University vs The OHIO STATE University time honored traditions (especially highlighting the PSU wins, of course). Be comforted to know there is one helluva tailgate up there every College Football Saturday with Bob leading the pack to that coveted “White Out” victory.....I will miss him too, Rest In Peace friend.

Bob was like a dad to me. I had the wonderful opportunity to care for him and the stories we shared were of family, and friends and all the things he loved. We would watch his favorite soap opera, Bold and the Beautiful, that he would call Bed, Bath and Beyond. We shared his sports statistics , his favorite foods and his time hunting and camping. His love for his daughter was so very special, she was his whole world. Joes BBQ was one of his favorites and the pies from Rock Springs Cafe in Black Canyon that were homemade. We spent many hours talking and he touched my heart. His smile was infectious and personality unmatched. We will miss him terribly, but know he is with us in our hearts. We Love you Bob!!!

Uncle Bob was always so pleasant and fun to be around. I remember all the picnics with volleyball and horseshoes as a kid, and more recently seeing him in Pennslvania wearing a wig, pulling pranks, and always having everyone laugh! His generosity as an uncle was profound and his door always open. His character and kindness will always be with us and we will all miss you very much.
Sincerely,
Mark Burns and Family

We had a shared sense of humor. I will always miss the adult humor e-mails. Talking about how bad these Arizona sports teams are. Yelling 'Bobbaay!5:30 am out my truck window on my way to work while on your morning walk on Hardy. Just won't be the same.

Thank you for so many wonderful memories Bob! So much laughter and good times shared over the years! Thank you for loving your family so much and for always showing such concern for all of us. Thank you for your very unique sense of humor and the endless pranks - boy, did you ever like a good prank and a good laugh! As a family member (youngest sister) I can tell you that there was NEVER a dull moment when Bob was surrounded by the love and companionship of his family! I am proud to say that Bob was a brother who could be looked up to and depended upon, especially if some good advice or encouragement was needed. I will miss you my big brother.
