Robert "Rob" Gerald Tuttle passed away on June 12th at the Dobson House Hospice in Chandler, Arizona at the age of 66. He was born in Flushing, New York on December 24th, 1949 to James and Rita Tuttle. Rob is survived by his wife of 39 years Mary Jo; his two sons Brian and Matthew; his three siblings Tom, Barbara, and Jack; and grandson Finn. Rob grew up in Maywood, New Jersey and ended up in the Phoenix area after a cross country road trip at the age of 25. He served in the Marine Corps from 1971 to 1977 and graduated from Newark College of Engineering with a Mechanical Engineering degree. He worked in the refrigeration business as a sales engineer at Arizona Refrigeration Supplies for 30 years and at Industrial Refrigeration for 8 years. He coached Brian in baseball and Matt in soccer as they grew up. He loved to golf and enjoyed watching all the major sports. He was proud to be a grandfather with the birth of his first grandchild Finn in 2015. Visitation is on Thursday June 16th at 10 AM followed by a service at 11 AM at Resthaven Mortuary & Memorial Gardens (4310 E Southern Ave, Phoenix 85042). In lieu of flowers any donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley.
