

Ruth Faye Flournoy Reece was born May 22, 1926 in Loraine, Texas to Huitt and Eliza Flournoy. Her Family moved to Midland, Texas in 1928, where she attended Carver High School. In later years she was baptized and added the church of Christ under the teaching of Bro. L. H. Alexander
April 10, 1964, Faye as she was known by family and friends married Ralph Reece, who was a gospel preacher. She remained faithful to him until his death, March 24, 2009.
Faye was a senior companion at Senior Opportunities Center West. Where she enjoyed crocheting and jewelry making.
Other family members that have preceded her in death were her parents: Eliza and Huitt Flournoy, 3 sisters: Juanita Armstrong, Cloma Powell, and Dorothy Flournoy, 1 brother: Curtis Flournoy Sr., 2 nieces: Alice Flournoy Kazee and Brenda Flournoy Braswell.
She leaves to cherish her memories, 4 stepchildren: Timothy (Cathlynn) Reece, Ralph Reece Jr., Patricia (Bill) Hall, and Hershey Ray Reece. 2 nephews: Curtis (Geanie) Flournoy II, and Enis Powell, 6 grandnieces: Angela (Herb) Anderson, DeeDee Wilson, Demetrice (Steve) Wilson, Sheila Crosby, LaTonya Flournoy, Nakisha (B.J.) Ortiz, Veronica Flournoy, 4 grandnephews: Richard Flournoy, Ramzies (Simona) Kazee, Eric Kazee, Curtis Flournoy III, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great grand nephews, great grandnieces and other relatives and friends.
