Toribio Sanchez

Toribio, 83, our grandfather, father, husband and friend has rightfully taken his place in heaven with our lord on February 10, 2017. He was born in Taylor, TX to Francisca Martinez de Sanchez and Felipe Sanchez on April 21, 1933. Toribio was such a gracious spirit, humoring us with his many jokes and contagious smile. He was a dedicated family man, spending many years working for the City of Phoenix and being a wonderful provider and husband to his loving wife Amelia. Toribio dedicated his life to Amelia and their 6 children. His love for Amelia was undoubtedly one of a kind, spending 63 years together as husband and wife. His Parents, Siblings, and Daughters Dora Francisca Sisneros and Maria Victoria Minjarez preceded Toribio in death. Left to cherish his memory is his Wife Amelia Sanchez; his children, Lorenzo Sanchez (Suzie), Carlos Sanchez (Lisa), Irma Lopez (Santiago), Carmen Leyva, Norma Martinez (Jesse), Rebecca Sisneros; and his 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Toribio will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to have met him. The memories we have with grandpa will be forever carried in our hearts. Respects will be given on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 E Southern Ave Phoenix AZ 85042. Toribio, 83, nuestro abuelo, padre, esposo y amigo ha tomado su lugar en el cielo con nuestro señor el 10 de febrero de 2017. Nació en Taylor, TX a Francisca Martínez de Sánchez y Felipe Sánchez el 21 de abril de 1933. Toribio Era un espíritu tan gracioso, que nos regocijaba con sus muchas bromas y su sonrisa contagiosa. Él era un hombre dedicado de la familia, pasando muchos años que trabajaban para la ciudad de Phoenix y siendo un abastecedor y un marido maravillosos a su Amelia amorosa de la esposa. Toribio dedicó su vida a Amelia ya sus 6 hijos. Su amor por Amelia fue indudablemente uno de los tipos, pasando 63 años juntos como esposo y esposa. Sus padres, hermanos e hijas Dora Francisca Sisneros y María Victoria Minjarez precedieron a Toribio en la muerte. Dejado para acariciar su memoria es su esposa Amelia Sánchez; Sus hijos Lorenzo Sánchez (Suzie), Carlos Sánchez (Lisa), Irma López (Santiago), Carmen Leyva, Norma Martínez (Jesse), Rebecca Sisneros; Y sus 18 nietos y 16 bisnietos. Toribio será muy extrañado por todos los que tuvieron la suerte de haberlo conocido. Los recuerdos que tenemos con el abuelo serán llevados para siempre en nuestros corazones.
