Trevaia Nicole Johnson

Trevaia Nicole Johnson was born on August 9th, 1996 at Mesa Lutheran Hospital to Travis Johnson and Melissa McAllister. Trevaia was a happy baby. She had the biggest brown eyes, and an infectious smile. Like most babies, she was adventurous and inquisitive. Her first 8 years were shared with her adoring big sister, Allison.

In 2002, her dad, Travis, married Sherri Garcia. Trevaia was the flower girl in their wedding and practically stole the show.

Trevaia was welcomed into Sherri’s family with open arms.

In August of 2004, Trevaia became a big sister to Payton. She took this job VERY seriously. She loved her baby brother and wanted to hold him all of the time. She always had a huge smile on her face when he was around.

Her childhood was filled with quality time spent with her family. That included going on trips to Disneyland, Sea World, The Polar Express, making Christmas cookies, going up to the cabin, playing in the snow and so much more. Trevaia enjoyed the water and spent lots of time swimming and playing in the pool.

Trevaia had the most loving connection to animals. She loved all kinds of animals but she especially adored dogs and horses. Now, when it comes to lady bugs though, she was not really a fan.

From childhood to adulthood, she spent time caring for others, whether it was volunteering at Awakening Seed School, helping her great aunt at her group home, or working as a caregiver for the elderly.

Trevaia went to rest in peace, at age 27, on May 10, 2024. While we are overcome with sadness, we are also filled with gratitude for the light she brought into our lives. Her impact will continue to shine through the lives she touched.

Trevaia is survived by her mother, Melissa (Avery); father, Travis (Sherri); sister, Allison; brother, Payton; grandparents, aunts, uncles and many cousins. Her family will miss her beautiful smile and quirky laugh the most.
