Walter Burton, Jr. was born on Sunday, April 26, 1942, entered into Heaven on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the age of 73. Walter was born in Burnwell, West Virginia and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. As a young man, he enlisted into the United States Army and completed two tours in Vietnam. After coming home a changed man, he was still a very loving father. Walter is survived by his life long friend Sandy, his children Rita Burton Vasquez, Kevin Burton, Lori Burton, seven grandchildren and his sister Brenda Burton Manning. A graveside service for Walter was held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Memorial Gardens, 4310 East Southern Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85042. He will be missed dearly by his loving family and friends. Services were entrusted to the Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens.
