She moved to California when she was about thirteen years old. she grew up in a very loving family, and she was especially close to her father, Phil.
She was a woman of great beauty with grace, style, compassion, and empathy. She brought joy and friendship to others and was a treasure to her family. She was a devout Catholic who was very active in her church as a Eucharistic minister, lector, and choir member. She was a gifted singer with a angelic voice, and as a youth, a mexican folk dancer. she sewed beautifully for family and friends and was a giving woman who enjoyed life.
On February 14, 1953, Juliet married Al O. Lopez. They had Elaine Christine about a year and a half later and Kathryn Alison seven years after Elaine. they bought a home in Pico Rivera in 1956 which was a beautiful little community among orange groves.
Al has been by Juliet's side since she was seventeen years old and especially during her illness these past fourteen years. he was devoted to her and livingly took care of her twenty four hours a day/seven days a week
In their twilight, they exemplified Genesis 2:24- "And the two of them became one body."
Juliet was a remarkable woman whose life was lived in Christian service to others. She had a tender heart to all those that were vulnerable and God's little 2-legged and 4 legged creatures.
All those that knew her were blessed to have her in our lives. She was greatly loved and will remain in our hearts forever.
