Socorro is survived by her loving four granddaughters Maribel Rivas, Adriana Rivas, Lilia Rivas and Socorro Majano. She leaves behind 11 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren to cherish her memory.

Socorro resided in Pico Rivera, California. Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured, the warmth she extended, and the gentle, faithful way she moved through the world—beloved, cherished, and forever remembered.

Funeral Mass will be held at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4245 Acacia Ave, Pico Rivera, CA 90660 on September 15, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, 966 Potrero Grande Dr, Rosemead, CA 91770 on September 15, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
