

Dalton was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend. He was a devoted Catholic who cherished his faith and loved God. He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and always eager to volunteer for his church. Dalton had a passion for spending time with his family, friends, and fishing. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, King's Men, and Servants of Christ.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of fifty four years, Veronica Richard Landry; three daughters, Stacy Lehmann (Keith), Bonnie Betters (Jerry), and Anissa Benoit (Brook); five grandchildren, Blade Stelly, Chance Stelly (Ashley), Stephen Betters, Jackson King, and McKinlee Thompson; one great granddaughter, Sawyer Stelly; two brothers, Alvin Landry (Shirley) and Johnny Landry (Marlene) and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nary and Theresa Landry; seven siblings, Ulysse Landry, Albert Landry, Nolton Landry, Leonard Landry, Willie Landry, Vivian Leray, and Jeannie Landry.
In lieu of flowers, he would like masses offered for the repose of his soul at a church of your choice or at www.mymassrequest.org.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Critical Care Unit at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center and everyone for their prayers, support, and love throughout this difficult time.
Pallbearers will be: Blade Stelly, Chance Stelly, Keith Lehmann, Jerry Betters, Brook Benoit, and Durk Landry.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Alvin and Johnny Landry.
A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 5pm until 9pm and will resume on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 8am until Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church at 11am with interment to follow in the church mausoleum
