

Her greatest joys in her life were her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was devoted to her family. Dot was an avid gardener who loved her flowers, plants, garden and her yard. One of her greatest enjoyments was being on her lawnmower cutting her grass. She was very devoted to her Catholic faith and a parishioner of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.
Dot is survived by her children, Vicki Templet, Robert Templet (Lisa), Ellen Daigle (Gregory), and Julie DeVillier (David); grandchildren, Lindsay Hebert (Matt), Tracey Templet, Megan Templet, Shelby Lavergne (Austin), and Allie DeVillier; great-grandchildren, Amelia Hebert, James Hebert and Charlie Lavergne; siblings, Lorraine Poirrier (Lester), Shirley Woodruff, Burton Theriot (Deanie), Jeanie Templet (Kenneth), Beverly Landry (Daril); sister-in-law, Eloise Zeringue; loved as grandchildren, Maria and Kati Landry and also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Oleus “Junius” Templet, Jr.; sons, Chris and Neil Templet; parents, Leonie Jr. and Elise Theriot; brother and sister-in-law, Roland and Vickie Theriot and brother-in-law, Roland Woodruff.
Pallbearers will be Gregory Daigle, David DeVillier, Burton Theriot, Matt Hebert, Austin Lavergne, Kenno Templet, Les Poirrier and Jeff Zeringue.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part until the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part, LA at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow in church cemetery. Father Al Davidson will be officiating.
