

She loved making her world a beautiful place a talented gardener. She was one to give a "pinch" of a treasured plant so that her friends and family could share in that beauty. She was an avid reader who traveled the world from the comfort of her chair. Her main joy and contribution was loving her children and grandchildren. She has left behind, in them, an abundance of precious memories, life lessons and the knowledge that patience and humility make for beautiful relationships.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Moore; a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Matthew Kivett; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory and Stephanie Moore and Timothy and Laura Moore; a sister, Wilma Mabile Blanchard; a brother, Morris Mabile; and eight grandchildren, Seth Moore, Jacob Moore, Quinn Moore, Jonah Savoy, Joshua Moore, Reese Moore, Madeline Savoy and Gabriel Savoy.
Preceded in death by her parents, Lovelace and Adeline Mabile; and three brothers, David, Jessie and Eareste “T-Babe” Mabile.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Seth, Quinn, Reese, Jacob and Joshua Moore and Jonah and Gabriel Savoy.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. Visitation will resume on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker at 10:00 a.m.
The family sends special thanks to Leah Pipsair, who provided compassionate, gentle care throughout her illness and Lena Simoneaux, who ministered to her and provided love and friendship in her last days. Thank you also to Dr. Cataldo, Dr. Tabor and Dr. Glen Schexnayder.
