

John was a selfless and generous man who consistently placed the needs of others above his own. He was a devoted husband who deeply cherished his wife, always ensuring she was well cared for and supported. Known for his willingness to lend a helping hand, John took pride in maintaining not only his own yard but also assisting neighbors in keeping their yards well-kept.
In his spare time, John found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved riding his boat, capturing special moments through photography, preparing delicious meals in the kitchen, and working in construction, especially doing sheetrock. His hardworking spirit, kind heart, and dedication to both his family and community will always be remembered.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of nineteen years, Julie Hebert Domingue; one son, Joseph Spencer (Constance); three grandchildren, Gabriel, Elijah and Allie Spencer; six siblings, Lena Templet (Jody), Edith Gauthreaux (Jerry), Aline Pruitt (Tim), James Domingue (Shelly), Scott Domingue (Casey) and Adam Domingue (Dawn) and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
He is preceded in death by parents, John Sr. and Mable Guillot Domingue; one brother, Jason Domingue; grandparents, John and Rosa Domingue and Jeffery Guillot and Angelic Sanchez and his mother-in-law, Vera Hebert.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Spencer, Gregory Naquin, Shawn Gauthreaux, Skyler Domingue, Jason Domingue Jr. and Brett Domingue. Honorary pallbearers will be James Domingue, Scott Domingue and Adam Domingue.
The family would like to thank the Pierre Part Fire and Rescue, the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Department and Pastor Gerald Daigle for their service and support.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of John can be made to his family.
A visitation will be held at Pierre Part Christian Church in Pierre Part, LA, on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 9am until service at 12pm. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Belle River, LA.
