
Lucille Blanchard Gaudet, a native Pierre Part, and resident of Belle River, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was 90. Mrs. Gaudet was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.
Visitation will be Monday, August 25, 2014, 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, August 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, with Rev. Al Davidson, celebrant. Entombment will be in St. Joseph the Worker Mausoleum, under the direction of Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part.
She is survived by her daughter; Relma Dugas and husband Lane Dugas, Jr., a grandson; Kelly James Dugas and wife Janet, a great granddaughter; Claire Elise Dugas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Sulia Gaudet, Jr., her parents; Jules Blanchard, Sr., and Myrthe Crochet Blanchard, 9 sisters; Agatha Hernandez, Mattie Vaughn, Hattie LeBlanc, Delta Daigle, Rita Daigle, Nilda Vaughn, Loretta Sedatol, Winnie Leonard, and Alma Miguez, 4 brothers; Duvelier Blanchard, Abel Blanchard, Claude Blanchard, and Jules Blanchard, Jr.
