

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she passed away Sunday, September, 23, 2012 at the age of 80. She was a lifelong resident of Pierre Part, a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxillary, and a former member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She loved to cook, eat, baking her famous gâteau à la bouille, listening to her Cajun music, and going to Mardi Gras parades. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Russ Tircuit, of Addis; sons and daughters-in-law, Carl and Gisele Courville, Glenn and Tina Courville, all of Pierre Part; grandchildren, Craig Courville and wife Katy, of Gray, Valerie Courville, of Pierre Part, Beau Courville, of Pierre Part, Beth Courville, of Pierre Part, Christy Tircuit and fiancé Rett Beauchamp, of Addis, Michael Tircuit, of Addis; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Allen Huval, of Pierre Part; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Herbert and Sylvia Coupel, Lester and Leanna Coupel, all of Pierre Part. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dudley Courville; parents, John and Georgina Coupel; sisters, Nellie Mire, Winnie Miller; and brother, Norman Coupel. There will be a visitation at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part, Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:45. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Clarence Waguespack, celebrant. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
