

Pearl was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, who left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Her deep faith as a devout Catholic guided her life and brought her joy and strength. Pearl cherished the time that was spent with family, creating memories that will be treasured forever. She had a passion for reading, her hands were always busy, whether she was sewing beautiful creations, nurturing her garden, or painting ceramics with her daughter. Baking treats with her grandkids was another one of her gifts, and her goodies brought warmth and comfort to those around her.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter Melissa "Missy" Leonard and husband, Scott Sr.; five grandchildren, Sherry Venable and husband, Chris, Treaver Gaspard, Brittany Robichaux, Candice Theriot and husband, Guy, and Scott Leonard Jr.; eleven grandchildren, Tenley, Kelbey, Brantley, Lakley, Chevelle, Vega, Mylee, Bentley, Carter, Sarah, and Braxton; one great great grandchild, Adalynn; her brother, Frank Templet, and her two dear friends, Cecile and Shirleen.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kerny Landry; parents, Clay and Egladie Hebert Templet, and six siblings, Rene', Herbert, Edley, Lloyd, Winnie, and Edna.
A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part, LA, on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 12pm until Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church at 1pm. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
