Ronald Paul “Mec” Crochet September 26, 1961 - January 17, 2026 Ronald Paul “Mec” Crochet, a native and lifelong resident of Pierre Part, Louisiana peacefully passed away on January 17, 2026 with his two daughters by his side.

He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a hard worker, and always took pride in the work he did. He loved being in the outdoors, cooking, and spending time with his family.

Ronald leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughters, Betsy Berthelot (Shaun) and Eunia Gros (Blake). His siblings and their spouses, Gerald Crochet (Trudy), Evelyn Berthelot (DJ), Louise Andersen (Scott), Mildred Charlson (Alan), Delores Gauthreaux (Feren), Vicky Crochet, and Veronica Ring (Craig). Grandchildren Coy lll and Chloe Leonard and Connor Berthelot, Great-grandchildren Isabella and Owen Leonard. The mother of his children, Cammy Suttoon Crochet, nieces, nephews, and companion Jennifer Richard.

He is reunited in Heaven with his parents, Philip and Lois Hebert Crochet, nephews Eric Dupre and Stan Robison, and his grandparents.

The family would like to thank Assumption Community Hospital and Thibodaux Regional for the amazing care he received.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 9:00 am until the memorial service at noon at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part.
