

Terry Lynn Leonard, 59, died on Wednesday, December 16, 2015. He was an avid outdoors man who loved to hunt and fish and loved being at the camp with his buddies. He loved spending time with family, especially his three precious grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Christine Mabile Leonard; two daughters, Jolié Leonard Ponville and husband, Clarence “Sac” Ponville III, and Christy Leonard and fiancé, Ronnie Nickens; three grandchildren, Kamryn Amorello, Baylor and Jax Ponville; mother, Pauline Leonard; sister, Linda Pichoff; two brothers, Robert “Bobby” Leonard and wife, Judy and Darryl Leonard and wife, Janet; one brother-in-law, Keith Mabile and wife, Roxanne; two sisters-in-law, Lori Hawley and husband, Todd, and Michelle Croney and husband, Franklin; Goddaughter, Dawn Leonard LeBlanc; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father, Stanley Adam Leonard; mother-in-law, Lorraine B. Corcoran; fathers-in-law, Dudley B. Mabile and Michael Corcoran; and good friend Troy “Snoop Dog” Ponville.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow in church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Pichoff, Reggie Leonard, John Hebert, Raymond Pisani, Zack Metrejean, Danny Chaisson, Devin Croney, and Keith Mabile.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Brouillette, Tad Landry, Gary Metrejean, and Justin Mabile.
