

Todd John Ponville, passed away tragically in a car accident with his beloved brother, Troy Anthony “Snoop Dog” Ponville, on October 26, 2014. He was 48 born on March 18, 1966. A native and resident of Pierre Part. He was a loving father. Todd was a hard worker and enjoyed working out to stay fit and healthy. He was a huge fan of the Saints and enjoyed watching them play football. He enjoyed living life in the fast lane. His favorite times were spending with his family, especially his children, and numerous friends.
Survived by his beloved mother, Dorothy Ponville; beloved children, Taeler and Lee Ponville; loving siblings, Tracy Aucoin and husband Percy Jr. “Bim, Travis Ponville, Clarence J. “Sac” Ponville, III, and wife Jolie, and Trish Robin and husband Brian; sister-in-law, Yvette Ponville; Godchildren, Trent Ponville and Paul Coupel; nieces and nephews, Craig Aucoin, Hunter Ponville, Falynn E. Rivere, Baylor and Jax Ponville, Brynn Robin, and Jayden Aucoin.
He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Ponville, Jr.; brother, Craig Ponville; grandmothers, Orville Acosta and Inez Coupel; and grandfathers, Claiborne Cedotal and Clarence Ponville, Sr.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. – 12:00a.m. and will resume on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 7:00 a.m. – 10: 30 a.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Laurey Coupel, Paul Coupel, Kevin Domingue, Nicky Blanchard, Paul Blanchard, Chet Gauthreaux, Randy Leonard, and Travis Ponville.
Honorary Pallbearer will be his son, Lee Ponville.
