Charlotte Louella Myers Shore

Charlotte Shore is celebrating her homecoming. We can only rejoice with happy tears for her to meet Jesus and return to her husband, Roger, her daughter, Charlene, her parents Sidney and Mary Myers, her brother, Dave Myers, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law Odel and Judy Shore, Ezra and Garnet Shore, grandson, Clint Disher and many other loved ones.

She grew up in the rolling hills of North Carolina where she was taught to work hard, give thanks, share her gifts and talents, and be a great friend. She found the love of her life and married Roger on October 12, 1963 and moved to Pompano Beach, FL.

They were blessed with three wonderful children Danita and Chris Disher, Teresa and Alberto Sosa, and Brian and Michelle Shore. From these special unions came six beautiful grandchildren: Jessica and Katlyn Disher, Alyssa and Karina Sosa, and Cadence and Noah Shore.

She will also be missed by her siblings Betty and the late Charles Shore, Johnny and Carolyn Myers, John and Geraldine Shore and her aunts, uncle, cousins, nephews, nieces and her dearest friends.

A Celebration of Charlotte’s life will be held Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 4pm and visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:45 pm at Christ Community Church, 901 East McNab Road, Pompano Beach, Florida. The Rev. Dr. Edward Hernandez will be officiating. Following the service a Southern Baptist pot luck dinner will be served for immediate family and friends.

Charlotte will travel the long road back to her hometown in North Carolina where she and Roger will be united again for eternity. Services and burial are planned for June 23, 2012 at her home church of Deep Creek Baptist Church in Yadkinville.
