This morning I heard the song Blessed Assurance on the radio and it took me back to the years 1957 to 1959 when I was a close friend of Peter's, as he used to sing the song often.  I decided to look him up to catch up with him and was very saddened to learn that he past away January of this year.

Peter was a fun loving individual and always up to some exciting adventure.  I knew him through my cousin John Bolos who had Peter as a student in Woodmere, NY.  

My deepest condolences to all that were close to Peter.

David, if somehow this email finds you, please reply.  I have been searching for Peter and cannot believe I actually found this site.  I’m sitting here in the middle of the night crying.  This is not what I wanted to find.  I haven’t seen Peter since 1953.

Quiero darle gracias a Dios, por permitirme conocer y convivir con Peter, me guió, me apoyo, siempre estuvo para escucharme, para darme un consejo. Lamento que no vio el logro de mis metas y proyectos, solo quiero que este orgulloso de la persona que soy. 
Peter, nunca te voy a olvidar, David sabe cuanto te quiero.
PD.  conservo la correspondencia desde hace mas de 30 Años.

Peter was a good friend of my mother's, Dr Marylou Daste  They worked together in the school system.  They had so many adventures together! He was a bright star and so much fun to be around. To David... I am so sorry you lost your love. He and Marylou are dancing in heaven. 

I have had the pleasure of working with Peter and David at the Historic Stranahan House Museum.  I will always remember Peter for his smile and the kind words he had for everyone.  Along with David, Peter was a docent whose tours of the museum were interesting  and always filled with Peter's  great sense of humor.  He was a good sport about volunteering for our Peter Pan Pirate Party, dressing up as a very convincing pirate!

He will be missed.
