Susan, when Bruce Danna called me to tell me that Jerry had been summoned HOME, I was in disbelief. But then quickly I realized that God never makes a mistake on the timing with His children. I have many great memories going back 38 years ago of you and Jerry ministering at the Greenhouse. I was a brand new believer in awe of you spiritual giants! May the Lord now be your husband. Dearest Susan and Family,  Jerry was a gentle giant who lit up a room with his presence and pointed us to Christ!  Jerry will be greatly missed -- especially at the annual Emmanuel Baptist Church Men's Conferences in Coconut Creek, FL which he attended with great enthusiasm.  My heart goes out to you and I assure you of my prayers while you walk through this pain in the House of Mourning and throughout the journey ahead.  I pray for your comfort to be assured that "The Strife is O'er The Battle Won!" for Jerry who has run the race and now wears the Victors's Crown in the Arms of the Victor! Truly, Jerry and Susan were a team!  He was a friend and brother.  There are so many things that could be said about Jerry, but the best is - 'He loved the Lord and he 'fed' the sheep that the Lord gave him.'  We may miss him but not for long! Our hearts are so deeply saddened in the loss of this very special Man of God. Words convey so little when hearts feel so much, but the  greatest comfort we have in this time of loss is in knowing that death does not have the last word ~ Jesus does. 

We will always remember Jerry's faithful dedication and leadership to the Green House Ministry in Fort Lauderdale where we saw him faithfully sharing the gospel each week. We will see you again, Jerry!
