Joe went to Union College to become a draftsman- when his mother took ill he left early

to work and help the family-

Joe was well know in the Tri City area -Albany, Schenectady & Troy NY for achievements in

sports- He is remembered by the GEAA (General Electric Athletic Association

for holding the record in most points scored in basketball--51 in one game-his name still

appears on their walls-he enjoyed fast pitch softball & basketball most -Stories of memories

when his team opened for the Harlem Globe trotters was always a pleasure to hear

He entered the Army-Airborne in 1951 During the Korean War

He was one of the brave soldiers who took park in the testing of the Atom Bomb in Yucca Flats NV

Recently he was able to attend the Veterans virtual honor flight of South Florida- A wonderful

tribute to the veterans -such shouldn't be missed-He enjoyed it so much-

In the rear of St Gabriel's Church is an honor plaque for Veterans where Joe's name appears

Real Estate sales and mortgages were his last and best professions-

A FUNERAL SERVICE FOR JOSEPH WILL BE HELD SATURDAY, APRIL 23, 2022 FROM 11:00 AM TO 12:00 PM AT ST. GABRIEL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 731 N. OCEAN BLVD., POMPANO BEACH, FL 33062.
