

Lina was born in Avellino, Italy to Armando and Maria Merone on October 2nd, 1942. She emigrated to the United States with her family in 1952 when she was 12.
Lina attended Edison high school in Mt Vernon, New York and graduated in 1958. She married Vittorio on October 1961 in New York.
In 1979 the Esposito’s moved to Lighthouse point, Florida. When all the children were grown, she began working as a school cafeteria manager for Pompano Beach Middle for many years. She received many awards and certifications while working for the school board. She was involved in her favorite hobby of bowling, with her many friends as they competed in a league in Pompano Beach. Lina had a great love of animals and leaves behind a dog named Bella.

Lina is survived by her four children: Giacomo Esposito, Victor Esposito, Pat Esposito, Maria Wilson, nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
A visitation will be held at Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, located at 200 W. Copans Road, Pompano Beach, Florida, 33064, on May 5, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral service is scheduled for May 6, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
A graveside service will take place at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1500 S State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, Florida, 33068, on May 6, 2025, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
