She is predeceased by her daughter, Pamela Ryan; her first husband/friend, Martin Ryan; and her second husband, James Barnes.
She is survived by her eldest son, Bruce Ryan (Phyllis Ryan); and his sons (her grandsons), Brendan Ryan and Kiernan Ryan - and her great granddaughter, Genevieve Ryan.
She is also survived by her youngest child, Scott Ryan (Kimberley Ryan); and his daughters (her granddaughters), Connor Ryan (Michael Bennett) and Calen Ryan - and her great granddaughter, Adley Bennett. She just learned that another great grandchild is on the way!
A family gathering for Rita will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1199 NE 36th Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. Following the family gathering will be a committal service from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Boca Raton Mausoleum, 451 SW 4th Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33432.
