I wish i could have taken the pain away. I wish i had another chance to tell you that i love you or tell you how much you mean to me. I idolized the strength you exemplified each and every day. And no matter what tribulations you endured, you always seemed to overcome it. Mami painted the perfect picture of you. She mentioned your ability to make peace out of anything lupus thought it could take from you. You never let it define you. Little did you know you taught me so much. You taught me strength where i could see none, you showed me fearlessness. I was so proud of you! We shared so much of each other. We shared our thoughts, our secrets, and our hearts. I want to thank you for the time you gave me. I think back to every moment we shared and I can’t seem to grasp the thought of our lives and future memories without you but I want you to know that I am now coming to peace knowing that you are finally at peace and you will no longer have to suffer. A few years after graduation I was looking to buy a car and I went to you for help because I saw you were working at the dealership. It saddens me to know you are gone. When I think back to when we were kids I remember how tough you were. You, a girl 3 years younger than me, were tougher than me? Unacceptable. So, naturally, I would try to bully you but I would often times fail.

When we linked up in New York I think of how bright eyed and hungry for adventure you were. It had been over a decade since we last saw each other but we didn't skip a beat. We were cousins! And we had a night that I'll never forget. I told you how much I admire that you had the courage to move so far from home and that I wish I could do the same.

When we were both living in Florida again I can't stop thinking about how excited you were! Even after you drove me home over an hour away you were raving about how close we live now. THANK YOU! It was such a warm feeling being loved by you.

I had the pleasure of meeting Victoria when she was a young girl. We were  on vacation at Disney and we drove down to visit. She had never met me before and gave me the biggest hug I had ever received I instantly fell in love with her energy and personality. It was an honor to watch her grow up to the remarkable woman she was. She was so beautiful and had a personality to match with so much energy and a smile to light up the room. Her pictures were outstanding along with her inspirational posts and strength even though you were suffering inside is the most amazing thing I've ever seen. My last memory with her was at Aj and Kim's wedding where she came up to me grabbing my hand c'mon lets go take a shot and of course we did. I was planning a trip for early October partly because you've been in ny mind and was so looking forward to spending time with you. I actually was in the process of booking it when I heard the news so without a second thought with your family was where we needed and wanted to be. Although my heart is breaking that I didnt get to say goodbye the upside is you are no longer suffering. Please give my brother in law a big kiss and hug from me and especially his nephews and raise hell in heaven! I love you so much until we meet again #familybychoice

Vicky! I will never forget the times we shared when we played soccer together through out all of high school. You were one of the best players in the team. You were so great and for that we will never forget you💜💜 Your in a much better place now💕 

I've never met someone who loved life more than Vicky. She made it so easy to be happy around her. From the time I was staying with her and Justin for a couple of days, just lazing around, to the day of A J and Kim's wedding where we spent the whole night laughing and dancing, it was always a good time with her around. Though we lived far apart and we didn't get to see each other as often as we would've liked, every time I was around her I felt comfortable and at ease. She felt like home. Vicky was such an unforgettable person and she will always hold a place in my heart.

On the 16th of September, in the middle of the dia de la Independencia de Mexico parade. I received a thought to my head. It was this girl I met back in high school. I like usual, when someone pops up in my mind randomly, I usually hope life well for them. This was around 2-3 in the afternoon if I'm not mistaken. I hope the best for her at the moment. My memory of her, was seeing her outside after school walking from the bus loop I assume, to the front. We said hi to one another. I would chill with the boys whom I grew up with. I was thinking she was going to soccer practice since she was always involved with sports. We really didn't talk. That's why, I ask myself, "Was she trying to tell you something during that moment at the parade?" If she was, I simply hope for the better of her state of situation. Anyway, like back now at that particular moment. I know she's fine. She's at peace. Every once in a blue moon, I know she's on top of the universe looking at everyone's actions and doing. She elevated suspended above the whole earth. She's with Jesus talking to him.  Amen. I can't wait to get up there one day. See you soon.

Your ability to always light up whatever room you entered never went unnoticed. Your contagious smile, laughter and positive attitude will be greatly missed.

My dream come true, you completed me in every way and all your imperfections were my favorite part about you, through the struggles and fun, the arguments and long talks at night I don’t know what I’m going to do with out you but I know you’re going to help me figure it out like everything else, you truly showed me what it was to be in a relationship no pride just understanding and love... I remember when i was in middle school i was trying to get another girl number who was named vicky but i ended up with your number and man  your voice mail was lil mama my lip gloss popping !  Haha we had minutes on our phones before so i had to call at certain time lmao and wen i went to peru you ran them mins knowing your parents will be hot but we didnt know it was gonna be that expensive hahaha I remember bugging your sister with you when we got bored or playing call of duty all day after school ! We was always up to something either good or bad lol like when your mom caught me in your closet 🤣 we was so scared we aint know where to hide me ! Im tremendously sad you left to soon ! But you for sure made a huge impact to everybody! You BEAST ! You grow up to be the person you always wanted to be! 

Vic, from the moment I met you at the Travelex booth after Justin was so gassed to bring you over, I loved you for him. Your vibe was so calming and uplifting and you were everything he needed. You guys struggled together, overcame together and thrived together. I will never understand why this had to happen to you, to him, but I thank you for loving Justin the way you did. So many memories with my beautiful goddaughter 
 When you were a baby I remember holding you, and squeezing you. I changed your diaper and learned how to be a mommy because I lived with you for a while. 
When you were growing up, I remember you playing with your cousin Yesenia since you guys were only 1 year apart, you always had a love and appreciation for each other. 
You stayed with me on your many vacations so we could just hang out or explore NY together. 
I’ll always close my eyes and have the memories of your beautiful smile from the time you were a baby until I saw you last weekend and all the years in between. All here, in my heart, forever. Whenever i talked to you about problems that i was facing you always gave me the best advice and made me feel better when i needed to. I remember how you used to call my sister by her nickname “Gabi” and say it just like i would, with a Brazilian accent. I remember you and Justin at my wedding, dancing having fun enjoying life. You two were made for each other, had a beautiful relationship, I loved the two of you together. I remember us hanging out at your house and just catching up on everything, i loved how i could talk to you about anything and you the same way. Thank you for being who you were to me, for being so real, so genuine. Im going to miss you, and your beautiful smile. You made a difference in my life. RIP my love, enjoy heaven for all of us. (2/3) I remember opening up to you, balling my eyes out, about my parents separating. You let me into your family. I think that’s how I got through such a hard part in my childhood. Your family pretty much adopted me and never let me feel alone. I knew I always wanted to have a big family like yours when I got older.

I remember hanging out all day and crossing our fingers our parents would let me sleepover (the only boy allowed to haha). I remember summer days in the pool. I remember taking my bike to your house and knocking on your window until you woke up. Like 8 in the morning probably. We would chill in your room talking, playing music, “Juicy” always reminds me of you. I remember forming the HULKS crew with you and everyone we knew got a different color like the power rangers LMAO (omg so embarrassing). I remember when we found a huge lost dog and we kept it in my backyard until my dad got home and said I couldn’t keep it. We were so annoyed. 

I remember when I spent a summer in Atlanta and my dad kept mentioning we were gonna move there and I called you and Jess crying thinking I was never gonna see you guys (again, soooo embarrassing). 

I remember getting off the same bus stop everyday (NE 10th Ter and NE 30th Street) . We were on opposite sides of Cresthaven, but we would start walking to your house to hang out. How did we have so much to talk about in middle school? What did we even talk about? I don’t even remember any cloudy or rainy days walking to there, only sunny days. 

I remember at your Halloween party I was such a weirdo and didn’t know how to dance. So I would act a fool and do some weird break dancing on the floor. Other kids were probably laughing at me but I’ll never forget how awesome and funny you thought it was (this might be your favorite memory of us). 



Victoria and I met in 4th grade at Cresthaven Elementary. We were both 9, so we’ve known each other for now 15 years. I would pick on her and call her a boy (her sisters call her their “brother” so funny I did that before we all got close). I never would have guessed she would have been my first best friend and to share so many FUN memories together. 

Our dads met at the Sports Complex (an indoor sports park) and we recognized each other from school. While our dads would share a beer; Victoria, Jessica, Laura, me.... and sometimes Patrick would get lost in our own little world we created there till 4 in the morning. I would look forward to those nights, relieved to see my friends because I knew we were gonna have a new adventure and more importantly and unknowingly, a memory I can hold onto forever. I remember joining the kids soccer team literally only to hang out with you guys. Your dad was the coach and you all tried so hard to get me to be good. I remember we would play Bloody Mary in the bathroom. I remember us sitting in the middle of the hockey ring screaming to see who was the highest (before my Adam’s apple disqualified me a couple years later). I remember you and your sis defending me from Patrick bullying me since I was the smallest of the group. 

I remember when you invited me over to your house for your birthday party. I think you were turning 10. You had like a second or third degree burn but you didn’t let that stop you. Always so tough. I remembered your birthday quicker than my parents’. June 9th. 

I remember when we bought your family’s old house and you told me all these ghost encounters you had. Every little noise I thought was The Conjuring. 

Jessica was so excited that Victoria was moving back from NYC. She asked me if Victoria could work at the dealership. I already knew I would instantly hire her and I did. Victoria made it clear that this was not going to be permanent. It was only until she could pursue her dreams. She instantly became a huge asset to our dealership. Victoria’s work ethic was top notch. She was professional and persistent, just as Jessica. It was fun to get the competition going between the two sisters! It was more than just work! We were like a family. We had so many great conversations and many laughs! She has such a quiet but fierce way about her. ( she wasn’t as loud as some of us lol) Victoria was eager to learn and she gave it her all to succeed. It was a great honor to watch them grow and lead on to different paths. I knew the day would come that Victoria would leave the dealership to make her next move and I dreaded it. But, when she decided to leave we could only wish her the best and congratulate her on pursuing the next step to her dreams.  I always called her by her full name Victoria because she told me one time that she preferred Victoria . I used to give everyone a hard time and get on to them for calling her Vicki! ( even Jessica) .  It was all in good fun! I am honored and grateful to have been such a small part of her life.

Your positive energy and beautiful soul will forever remain in our hearts. All the memories I will forever cherish. I remember the very last time we chilled  was in January of this year. Me, you, Andrea, and Thais went out to eat. It was our little girls night where we caught up with everything going on in our lives at the time. You also came to visit Mila that day. I will never forget that day 😢 You took the most amazing photos of me in Milas nursery when I was pregnant. Grateful to have met such an amazing person like you. You were so strong, you fought and you fought and now you can finally rest baby girl, we all love you Vicky 🙏🏻❤️

Vic.. icky Vicky...  Puda... You impacted my life in such a special way. You were brave when I was weak, you faced things I feared. You’d grab my hand and hold on so tight to guide me through hard times.. When life tore us apart we found ways to reunite; I wish it could have been the same for this last time we had lost contact. Puda you were always such an amazing friend to me.. wish you could’ve have said the same about me.. but today getting to see and speak to your parents again for the first time in a long time felt so amazing. I remembered how you where always the brightest light in the room. You always brought others together. You brought out the best in me since the day we met (2010)... Victoria, I loved you then, I love you now & I’ll love you for the rest of my life... Pudas forever.  

Your friendship was so important to me, even if I wasn’t always the best at showing it. I can’t stop thinking about the day when we first spoke on the phone again after not speaking for so long. It felt like a tremendous weight had been taken off my chest. I was worried you’d never want to speak to me again but you did and it was as if no time had passed in between. I had a smile from ear to ear that whole day and then booked my trip to see you shortly after.  From day one you’ve always shown me what genuine love/friendship is and for that I’m so grateful. Meeting you was a blessing and I promise to cherish all of our memories for the rest of my life. I love you so much my ROD! Lola + Patricia 4ever ❤️

You are irreplaceable. The friendship we had was inseparable, which made you not only a friend, but my family. Your family is my family. I remember when I first met Victoria. She was driving some friends and I on 95 , all of us maybe 16 , Victoria was always the youngest in the group but always had the mature mentality. I could remember thinking “yo this girl the youngest out of all of us and know how to drive before all of us”. Victoria inspired more people than she could ever imagine , with a spirit so bright you felt nothing but good energy.   She always used to tell me I had fresh shoes and style but really she was always swagged out! She stayed fresh! My condolences to Justin and Victoria’s family, she’s in a better place painless, God gained an amazing angel. Rest easy princess 

I did not have the honor or really knowing you, but I did work with Della and you and your sisters were  Della's pride and joy.  I do remember you coming to the bank and you were a young teenager full of smiles and beauty.  You were taken from your family and loved ones to soon.  You  will be missed and always remembered.

Vicky I remember when I just turned 18 and left my home you gave me clothes and checked up on me. When I was going through things at home that I wouldn’t share with anybody I confided in you and you always told me to stay positive and that everything will be okay. You honestly had the most amazing beautiful pure soul I’ve ever encountered. I’ll forever cherish our friendship thank you for being you I’m forever grateful to have been able to call you a friend.

This day I remember by heart, Angel Mendez and I picked you up when you were on break working at Menchies the frozen yogurt place and just stared to drive around thinking we were so grown in my moms car.
