

KUENNING, William F. 75 of Pompano Beach, Florida passed away at North Broward Medical Center in Deerfield Beach, FL. On June 5, 2011. He was born in Norwood, Ohio to Howard Frederick Kuenning and Mildred Mary Sohngen Kuenning on July 23, 1935. He served in the U.S. Navy on the Aircraft Carrier USS Midway from 1953 to 1956. In the 70's while living in Indiana he owned and operated Long John Silver's and Wendy's franchises and Later in the 80's in the Tampa and St Pete area owned and operated the New Orleans Oyster Bar .Later in the 90' to present day he lived and worked and retired in the Lighthouse Point area to live near the Beach. He enjoyed fishing, aviation and was a Cessna Pilot. Predeceased by spouse Cindy Vaughn and Stepfather George Ralston. He will be greatly missed by his first wife Judith Norris Kuenning and their 5 children, son Mike and daughter-in-law Cathy , sons Gary and his son Bob and daughter-in-law Terri , daughter Jennifer and son and daughter-in-law George and Cheryl. Also survived by their 8 grandchildren, Chris, Max, Jennifer, Taylor, Morgan, Nicholas, Rachel and Zachary, 3 great grandchildren Brooklyn, Clayton and Abigail. He also leaves his loving pets, Shadow and Misty. A Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, June 10th from 2-4 pm at KRAEER FUNERAL HOME 1199 E. Sample Road, Pompano Beach, Florida 33064.
