Chien Van Nguyen

Chien Van Nguyen, 56, of Port Arthur, Texas was called home to the Lord on January 14, 2018, at Beaumont Nursing and Rehabilitation surrounded by his loving wife of 30+ years and 3 beautiful daughters.

He enjoyed the most in life from working at dusk til dawn to relaxing family vacations. He was a man that was bound to keep a smile on your face when around, it was never a dull moment with him. To loved ones he will always be remember as a man of strength and dignity especially to his wife, girls, and grandkids. Life was never to be taken too serious but to live and enjoy every moment. Keeping his faith and relationship with God was a matter of utmost importance which ultimately assisted him in accepting his fate after being diagnose with Terminal Cancer.

Mr. Nguyen is survived by his wife,Thuy Thi Le Pham; daughter and son-in-law, Julie Ann Nguyen and Tuan Pham; granddaughters, Kaylin Hoang Kayla Hoang; grandsons, Karson Pham and Karter Pham; son-in-law, Tuan Hoang; daughter and son-in-law, Diana Mary and Dony Ignacio; grandson, Jadyne Ford, granddaughter, Aleyah Ignacio; grandsons, Elijah Ignacio and Thomas Ignacio; and daughter, Jennie Lynn Morrison. Mr. Nguyen also leaves behind several brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews to cherish his memories.

Preceded in death by his father, Thu Van Nguyen; mother, Can Thi Dinh; brother, Quan Van Nguyen; and son-in-law, Jason Lee Morrison.

Visitations will be held Wednesday, January 17th; Thursday, January 18th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 5:00 p.m., and Friday, January 19th from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 4:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Final visitation for Mr. Nguyen will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church. Rite of committal will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
