Daryl is preceded in death by parents, William Michael Thomas and Mary Catherine Hauschen and a brother, Rodney Thomas.
He is survived by his son, Ryan Thomas; brothers, Duane Thomas and wife, Bonnie and Robert “Bob” Thomas; sisters, Patricia Warner and Paula McKee. Daryl is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, December 13, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur. A Memorial Service for Mr. Thomas will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Grammier- Oberle Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
