Donald is survived by his devoted wife, Linda "Lala" Allen; his brother, Billy Joe Allen; and his loyal boxer, Sophie, who was always by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Alberta Allen, and his brothers, Albert Allen and Jimmy Allen.
Donald also leaves behind numerous family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Donald was known for his love of family, friends, and children, whom he adored. A man of many passions, he had a special talent for rebuilding old cars and a lifelong love of motorcycles. Those who knew him best often described him as "a good man, a simple man," a sentiment that reflected his humble and kind nature.
At a young age, Donald was drafted into the Army, serving his country with dedication. After his service, he worked as a bricklayer, building both structures and strong relationships with those around him.
A visitation to honor Donald’s life will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A family service will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
