Eddie Kenneth Watts, III

Eddie Kenneth Watts III, 58, of Port Arthur, TX passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Eddie was born November 6, 1956 in Oakland, CA to Eddie and Hilda Watts. He graduated from Oakland Tech High; Hills Business College, U.C. Berkeley, and San Francisco State. Eddie served in the United States Army for 2 years. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Oakland, CA and was the Executive Manager for San Leandro Auto Parts Department. He worked for City of Beaumont and was a hard worker. Eddie was very quiet, caring, and a respectful godly man. He loved sail boats, roller derby and Christian music. He loved listening to the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, watching movies and singing.

Eddie is survived by his father, Eddie Watts, Jr. of Beaumont; son, Aaron J. Bowie and fiancé, Sandra Reyes of Oakland, CA; significant other, Rae Ann Reed of Port Arthur; sisters, Carolyn and Jeanette; and one expecting grandchild. He also leaves behind a host of great nieces and nephews to cherish his memories.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service to be held at 3:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home; 4841 39th Street, Port Arthur, TX.
