Gladys was born July 1, 1920 in Louisiana to George and Ruth Singleton. She loved camping with her late husband, Laurel Clinton Morgan and enjoyed working on her puzzles and watching football games.
Gladys is preceded in death by her parents, George Singleton and Ruth Poole Singleton; husband, Laurel Clinton Morgan; sister, Edith Romero and granddaughter, Jeanie Liddell. She is survived by son, Wayne L. Morgan and wife, Pat of Bridge City; daughter, Sharon Shields of Bridge City; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, September 6, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Funeral services for Gladys Morgan will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
