Jose "Chepe" Ramon Terrazas

Jose "Chepe" Ramon Terrazas, 53, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. Jose was born July 1, 1961 in Mexico to Ramon and Lydia Terrazas. Chepe was a hardworking man and always had a neat appearance. He enjoyed taking care of his horses, dog, and turtle. Jose had a very outgoing personality and was very humorous, and would leave everyone laughing so hard they would cry.

Jose is preceded in death by his father, Ramon Terrazas and a son, Jose Ivan Terrazas. He is survived by his children, Karla Terrazas Lara and husband Ramiro, Luis Terrazas and fiancé, Janie Zamora, and Randy Terrazas; brothers, Cesar Terrazas and wife Miriam, Gustavo Terrazas, Gerardo Terrazas and wife Irene, Martin Terrazas, Raul Terrazas and wife Julie; sisters, Armida Terrazas and husband Hector, Elva Terrazas Jacob and husband Alvado, Norma Terrazas, and Araceli Terrazas. Jose is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, April 17, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 8:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Funeral service for Mr. Terrazas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015 in the chapel of Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
