Joyce Rebert Pellerin

Joyce was born on August 13, 1922, in Loreauville, Louisiana to Antonia Boutte Rebert and Albert Rebert. She had lived in Port Arthur for most of her life and was a wife and homemaker. Joyce attended St. James Catholic Church in Port Arthur and loved to go to the Casino where she had many friends and loved to play card games; she also loved to fish.

A gathering of friends and family will take place from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation will take place at Haven of Rest Crematory in Bridge City, Texas.

Survivors include her husband of twenty-seven years, S.I. Pellerin of Port Arthur; sisters, Ruby Rebert Guidry and Ethel Rebert Harris both of Port Arthur; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Joyce was preceded in death by her sister, Hazel Rebert Holtzclaw; brothers, George Mickey Rebert and Earl Joseph Rebert.
