Karyn Beaumont

Karyn Sue Beaumont, née Heatherwick, was born in Port Arthur, Texas and was the only child of Bill and Nina Hetherwick. Karyn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Lamar University and spent a long career as a teacher in the Port Arthur Independent School District. Karyn was a longtime resident of Bridge City, TX where she raised her family. She is survived by her children Dr. Lee Beaumont and wife Dr. Carrie Beaumont of San Antonio; Heather Utterback and husband Sean Utterback of Groves; Dr. Heidi Doucet and husband Keith Doucet of Bridge City; Dr. Lance Beaumont and wife Brandy Beaumont of Riverside, California; grandchildren Chloe Utterback, Keaton Doucet, Peyton Doucet, Carson Doucet, Greyson Doucet, Emerson Beaumont, Kennedy Beaumont, Max Beaumont, and her beloved cat Abby. Karyn loved all things Disney, working tirelessly in her yard, and lived a full life with her family.

A Celebration of Karyn’s Life will be held at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th St, Port Arthur, on Saturday April 2nd. Visitation is from 1:00 – 2:00pm with Funeral Services beginning at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
