Lisa Frances Castaneda, 64, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2011, at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur. Lisa was born April 7, 1946, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Lonnie and Hazel Plunkett and has lived in Port Arthur for the past 35 years.
She is survived by her mother, Hazel Lewis; husband, Simon Castaneda; sons, James Thomas Ates and Simon David Castaneda; daughters, Terri Vaca, Brigette Ates, Roxanne Vicuna, Simona Sanchez, Yolanda Piedras, Maria White, Linda Castaneda and Kelly Brown; sister, Janet Ross; brother, Jerry Ross; 23 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, from 4 p.m., until 8 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at 2 p.m., at Calvary Cemetery in Port Arthur.
