Mae Fusilier Judice

Mae Fusilier Judice, 101, of Groves passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2012, at Oak Grove Nursing Home in Groves. Mae was born April 7, 1911, in Loreauville, Louisiana to the late James and Octavia Judice. Mae was employed and retired from the Fair Store with over 30 years of service and later was the Manager of the Children’s Dept. She loved life and enjoyed dancing, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She entertained everyone around her until the very end.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Irby Judice and Ivan Judice, sisters, Beulah Box, Jesse Broussard, and Ida Grimes, granddaughter in law, Tena Guidry.

Mae is survived by her daughter, June Guidry and her husband Wallace of Groves; 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, from 5:00p.m., until 8:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, Port Arthur. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at St. Peters Catholic Church with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Monsignor Kenneth Greig officiating.
