

Maria was born on February 1, 1966, in Cotija Michoacán, Mexico to Graciela and Antonio Figueroa. She was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Port Arthur and was a Manager at the International House of Pancakes (I.H.O.P.) in Beaumont. She was a fantastic cook and loved cooking for her family and friends; she was known as a hard worker and was very religious. Maria was most importantly remember as being all about family, she loved her children and other family members but she especially loved her grandbabies who she spoiled rotten but with love and discipline. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Survivors include her children, Ryan Edward, Kelly Edwards and Kerrington Jackson all of Beaumont; mother, Graciela Figueroa of Mexico; father, Antonio Figueroa of Port Arthur; sisters, Estella Ceja of Port Arthur and Olga Figueroa of Mexico; grandchildren, Christina Garcia and Elizabeth Garcia both of Beaumont; numerous nieces, nephews and family members who loved her dearly.
A visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur with a Christian Vigil Service to be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Port Arthur. Private cremation services will be conducted at a later date.
