Marshall was born on March 16, 1943, in Bastrop, Texas. He was a retired operator for Texaco Oil Refinery and a Vietnam Marine Corps Veteran. Marshall loved to do crossword puzzles, enjoyed dancing and eating; always helped others in need and was known as a family man, who never wanted to shake hands as he always said, “give me a hug”.
Survivors include his wife of twenty years, Lucinda Moreno Jackson of Port Arthur; children, Glendy Wieder of Port Arthur and Osiris Diaz of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Luigi, Edwin, Freddie and Rodrigo.
A visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur with a “Celebration of Life” Memorial Service honoring Marshall Jackson at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation services will take place at a later date.
