Mary Barbosa

Mary Barbosa, age 66, of Groves, Texas passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. Mary was born February 23, 1956 to Mary Frances Givens Castille and Henry Lee Castille. Mary enjoyed crocheting and listening to music. She spent many nights with family and friends playing dominoes, and cards. Mary had a giving heart and enjoyed taking care of others.

Mary is survived by her sons Robert Joseph Bienvenue of Groves, and Richard Paul Bienvenue and his wife Chrissy of Groves, her brother Henry Lee Castille and his wife Theresa of Port Neches, her brother James Clifton Castille of Port Neches, and her sister Betty Jean Berwick of Port Neches, her granddaughter Kaylyn Bienvenue, her grandson Ethan Bienvenue, her great granddaughter Eleanor Hucko all of Groves, her nephews James Berwick, and Jonathan Berwick, her nieces Cindy Garris, Amanda "Mandy" Cleveland, and Tabitha Bushman and her numerous great nieces & nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband August Dale Barbosa, her father Henry Lee Castille, her mother Mary Frances Givens Castille, her brother Ronald Roy Castille, and her nephew Henry "Tiny" Lee Castille.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A Celebration of Mary's Life will occur Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 2:00 PM, with a burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Port Arthur.

Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
