Melissa Sue Dean, 55, of Nederland, Texas passed away on October 21, 2010, at The Medical Center of Port Arthur, Texas. Melissa was born October 23, 1954, in Kilmichael, Mississippi to James C. & Dora Dean. She has lived in Nederland most of her life and was employed by Kay Electronics for over 35 years in Beaumont. Melissa was a graduate of Nederland High School – Class of 1973.
She is survived by her son, Bryan Ethan Mathew of Nederland; brother, James Michael Dean of Orange; companion, Donald Conner of Nederland and numerous relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010, from 5 p.m., until 8 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at 1 p.m., at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.
