

Milton J. Boudreaux, 81, of LaBelle, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
Milton was born in Port Acres and lived 79 years in LaBelle. He taught 37 years in the Hamshire-Fannett I.S.D. and loved every year of it. Besides being primarily an 8th Grade Science teacher, he was sponsor of the Student Council and U.I.L. One-Act Play & Poetry. He was involved in teaching C.C.D. at St. Therese, the Little Flower in Port Acres and St. Mary’s in Fannett and much more.
Milton was preceded in death by his father, Ophie Boudreaux; mother, Celestine Mello Boudreaux; brother, Thurman Boudreaux; infant sister, Opal Boudreaux; and twin brother, Filton Boudreaux.
He is survived by his nephew, Clyde Boudreaux and wife Theresa of LaBelle; nieces, Gail Boudreaux of Houston, Janis Weeks of Port Neches, and Lorri Weeks of Nederland; great nephews, Eddie and wife Stacy, Jimmie and wife Chris, and Charlie; great-great nieces, Michaela and Lauren; great-great nephew, James; family friend, Glenda Bourque formerly of Lake Charles, LA. Germain Miller and husband Gerald always had an important part in his life.
A gathering of friends and family will be held Friday, January 30, 2015 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur with the Rosary recited at 6:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Therese of the Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church, 6412 Garnett with Msgr. Jeremiah J. McGrath officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hamshire-Fannett Scholarship Fund or to the charity of your choice.
