Survivors include her children; Vincent Vu of Orange, TX, Vincent Vu of Ft. Worth, Hanh Vu of Alexandria, LA, Ana Vu of Lake Charles, LA, Nga u of Grapevine, TX, and Thuy Vu of Richardson, TX. She, also, leaves 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Our mother, My Dung Bui was the glue that kept our family bond strong. She taught us be firm in our faith, emphasized daily prayer, to give back to our community, and to love unconditionally.
She came to the US, with our father, in the early 80’s with nothing but her faith and the will to work hard in order to provide a better life with opportunities for her children. She was very humble, yet quietly supportive and proud of all our endeavors. She was a devoted wife, kind mother, nurturing grandmother, and adoring great grandmother. Our parents celebrated 51 years of marriage together and are now, together again.
She was compassionate and loved everyone but cared most deeply for her family. She was overjoyed with each new grandchild added to the family. Her face always lit up with happiness when our family was together. Her sweet smile will be etched in our memory always.
We are ever thankful for the profound influence she had upon our lives. We are all better because of her. Thank you to a great woman.
We love you mom. Always and forever.
