Nellie Landry

Nellie was born on April 15, 1914, in Port Neches, Texas to Cecile Dugas Broussard and Renee Broussard. She was a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who loved her family dearly. Nellie was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Altar Society as well as the Eagles Auxiliary Aerie #228 in Port Arthur.

Nellie is survived by her three sisters, Edna Harrington, Agnes LeBlanc and Helen Hargrave and niece, Cecile Hebert.

A gathering of friends and family will take place from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur with a Christian Vigil Service to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 13, 2011, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves with Father Don Golasinski serving as the Celebrant. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to: Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or to a charity of your choice.
