

Skeeter resided in El Paso for about 30 years with her late husband, George R. Williams. They were very active in El Maida Shrine Temple. She belonged to The Daughters of the Nile and was past Queen of the Nile. They were also active in the Antique Car Association and the Horseless Carriage Club. She returned to Port Arthur after George died about 25 years ago and was resident manager of the O.W. Collins Apartments.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Chester Ronquille and George R. Williams; her parents; and three sisters, Mary White, Gladys Chandezon, and Norma Gautreaux.
Her survivors include her son, James E. Ronquille of Bangkok; a stepson, George "Sonny" R. Williams, Jr. and wife Linda of Houston; stepdaughter, Betty K. LaBree of El Paso; a sister, Rose Hardy of Groves; 9 grandchildren, Jamie Wade, Aaron Wade, Dawn Bryan, T.J. DeBello, Tammy Comeaux, Penny Deason, Larry LaBree, Chip LaBree, Shari Gordon and 12 great grandchildren.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00p.m., with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, Port Arthur.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, Port Arthur, with interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
