Virginia (Ginny) Oberle Brisendine, 54, of Port Arthur, TX passed away Thursday, October 17, 2014 in Beaumont, TX. She was born December 31, 1959 to Theodore and Gaynelle Oberle. Ginny was a 1978 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. She was a very kind and nurturing person and a caregiver to many, especially her mother. Ginny loved the beach, gardening, cooking and traveling.
Ginny is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Joseph Oberle and Gaynelle Theresa Dumesnil Oberle. She is survived by her children, Jacquelyn Oberle (daughter of Jay Cook) of Beaumont, Stevie Brisendine and fiancé Ryan Jackson of Houston, and Jesse Brisendine and wife Jillian of Port Neches; brothers, Frank Oberle and his wife Donna, Ted Oberle and his wife Martha; sisters, Alice Metcalf, Gay Ellen Tritico and her husband Joey, Cathy Wagner and her husband Mike. Grandchildren include, Josephine Wiseman, Crispin Bohannon and Jason Brisendine.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home.
